Michael C. Nolan (1963– ), a scientist at the Arecibo {see planet  (4337)} Observatory, has significantly advanced our theoretical understanding of the collisional evolution of minor planets and has conducted numerous radar observations, including the first delay-doppler imaging of the largest main-belt objects.
