Pierre Schwob (b. 1946) is a software engineer whose eclectic interests bring together studies in cosmology and in comets. Dividing his interest between the Jarnac Comet Survey and the Kavli Institute for Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology, he also finds time for writings on classical music, pocket calculators and chess.
