Named for the Muse of music and lyric poetry {see also planet  (18)}. Her symbol was the flute. Some legends say she invented the flute and all the wind instruments. She loved wild melodies and associated more with Bacchus than with Apollo {see planets  (2063) and  (1862)}. (Z 105) _ _.
