Július Satinský (1941-2002) was a famous Slovak comic performer in radio, television, film and theater for more than four decades. He set up an intellectual comic duo with Milan Lasica in 1959, and their programs became very popular in the former Czechoslovakia. Satinský also wrote many stories for children.
