Ben Haemhouts (b. 1972) is a Belgian conductor, trombonist and composer, who studied during 1999-2002 with the Russian conductor A. Polyanichko. Currently he is the director of the Belgian Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra, and his performance of Mendelssohn's Italian Symphony in Oct. 2009 was much appreciated.
