Steven Peterson (b. 1953) worked as an optical systems calibration and test engineer on the OSIRIS-REx Asteroid Sample Return Mission OCAMS camera. He also worked at Kitt Peak National Observatory and served as an officer of the Tucson Amateur Astronomy Association.
