Vladimir Boico (1909-2001) was a Romanian amateur astronomer. A member and president of the Bucharest Astroclub, he was a pioneer of astrophotography, telescope making and high-altitude observations. He discovered an impact crater while travelling to Russia and built a device to observe the Jovian satellites.
